A writer and a poet from Oman, Mohammed AlAjmi is a researcher interested in the philosophy of science and artificial intelligence and has published works on consciousness, enlightenment, and the philosophy of criticism. He holds a bachelor’s in Mathematics from Sultan Qaboos University (Oman) and Computer Science from the University of Southern Queensland (Australia), in addition to having studied the philosophy of digital sciences at the University of Tilburg (Netherlands). A founding member of the Omani Society of Writers’s philosophy committee, he also helped establish the Rawaq Muscat literary salon. His first novel, The Secret of the Morisco, was longlisted for the Sheikh Zayed Book Award in 2022.
